Manchester United Fan Hospitalised after Consuming 15 Boiled Eggs Following Arsenal Win

By Frank Kamuntu

Kapkeno, who is a Kalenjin artiste from Kenya nearly met his creator after he was hospitalised for gobbling down 15 eggs.

The young man narrated that he found himself in hospital after the near-death experience.

The Uasin Gishu man noted that he had made a bet. He promised to eat a crate of eggs if Arsenal won against Manchester United.

The United fan was shocked when Arsenal floored Manchester United in the game this past weekend on Sunday, September 3.

Kapkeno went through with his promise and consumed 15 eggs.

“I had said that if Manchester United loses I will eat a crate of eggs, so when that happened I boiled a crate of eggs and went live on Facebook. You know how the pressure from fans is, I ate up to 15 eggs. When I reached the 15th egg, nikapata joto kwa mwili and later on I was told that my digestion was blocked as I fainted. I found myself in the hospital the next day.”

The artiste confirmed that he was now fine as he was released from hospital.

“Right now, I am well. I got out of the hospital yesterday.”

In March, Eddy Okello’s lifeless body was found in his bedroom a day after his favourite team, Manchester United, suffered a heavy loss to Liverpool FC.

He returned from watching the match at the local trading centre but refused to eat, citing feeling unwell.

Okello’s father said he decided to let him rest the following day despite being late for work, only to be told later he was found dead.
