It was good news for Uganda last evening [Saturday] as U20 Women’s National Team the Queens Cranes, defeated Mozambique in the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
The game took place at Campo da ABB- Matola stadium in Mozambique, the visitors Uganda, defeated Mozambique 6-0 to take first leg advantage.
The return leg will be played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on 13th October 2023.
The Uganda U20 Women’s National Team Head Coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi took a squad of 20 players with three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders and five forwards.
The winner between Uganda and Mozambique on aggregate will face either Senegal or Benin in the third round in November this year.
