The State Minister for Disaster Preparedness, Relief and Refugees, and Kitgum District Woman Representative Hon. Lillian Aber says her tweet about a date with Fik Fameica was merely a joke.
On X, Hon. Lillian Aber had tweeted; “I think it would be wonderful to take my new friend, @FIKFAMElCA, out for dinner. What do you think?”
Her tweet gathered quite some engagement and theories from netizens who wondered what interest a Member of Parliament has in a musician.
Via the same platform, early on Friday morning, Hon. Lillian Aber noted how the tweet was a joke and how the Fresh Gang singer is a young brother to her.
She also noted how people nowadays enjoy lugambo more than the constructive tweets she puts out regarding her other endeavors.
Hon. Aber, however, asked netizens to support Fik Fameica’s music career as he is one of the most talented artists, and that the leaders are committed to supporting many others of his kind.
A joke about taking FIK FAMEICA for dinner attracts 3.9K likes and on line newspapers writing all versions, but, an update on community engagement attracts only 563 likes. Hehehe, Social Media. People enjoy” Lugambo” vibes more as opposed to informative stories.
Anyway,Fik Fameica is my young brother and I call upon our country men and women to support his Career in the music industry. All our young artists should know that, they have our support as leaders and absolute commitment towards making the music industry better for all them. The world will agree to the fact that Uganda has got unimaginable talent across all the creative arts.
