A severe downpour hit Kampala and Wakiso on Wednesday morning, causing widespread flooding in several suburbs. The rain, which started at 5 am, lasted until midmorning, making roads impassable and disrupting commuters’ travel to the city.
Some schools, including one in Nateete, were also affected by the flooding. Residents struggled to navigate the flooded roads, and main roads were temporarily cut off.
