Ugandan real estate tycoon Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has announced plans for Kingdom Kampala Phase II, a 21-storey mixed-use development adjacent to the existing Kingdom Kampala complex, near the UBC hill in Kampala. The project is set to include a helipad and a combination of office, hospitality, and commercial spaces.
The development aims to build on the success of the original Kingdom Kampala, which is already a major hub for retail, business, and hospitality in the city. Phase II is expected to expand the existing ecosystem, providing executive-grade amenities, luxury accommodations, and premium commercial spaces.
Kingdom Kampala Phase II reflects Ruparelia’s continued investment in Kampala’s urban growth and vertical expansion. Strategically located, the high-rise development is designed to accommodate high-level executives, diplomatic traffic, multinational investors, and other premium tenants.
“This project is part of our long-term vision for Kampala as a growing continental capital,” a spokesperson for the Ruparelia Group said. “Phase II will complement the existing complex and further establish Kingdom Kampala as a leading mixed-use destination in the city.”
Construction timelines and projected completion dates for the development have not yet been disclosed. The project underscores Ruparelia’s ongoing influence in shaping Kampala’s skyline and the city’s commercial landscape.
